Roly has lived in Cirencester all of his life (most of it in Chesterton!) and raised his children here. He's worked in a number of businesses in Cirencester such as the Bear Inn and is a regular face at the Jubilee Club in Ashcroft Road.
Roly first stood for election because he cares about making the town a better place to live, work and visit and wants to continue to do this. In recent years he's been active in the Chesterton Community Project and a number of other good causes in the Town.
Roly's priorities are:
- Improve the parking situation in Cirencester. - The car parks are just not big enough for our residents and tourists, Roly will continue to work for more spaces.
- Improve the state of Chesterton’s roads. - Roly is trying to secure extensive road repairs to Chesteton’s roads
- Keep Chesterton clean and tidy - Many of Chesterton’s road signs look tired and issues such as overgrown foliage let our area down; He also wants to see more action taken to tackle litter and dog fouling.
