A European Event, focussing on Polish contributions

11th September 2008, between 7.00pm and 10.00pm, at Minsterworth Village Hall, Main Road, Minsterworth, Glos. GL2 9JH

In anticipation of the Year of Polish Culture in the UK (2009-10), FOREST OF DEAN LIBERAL DEMOCRATS invite you to a EUROPEAN EVENT, focussing on the contributions made by Polish people to this area since the 1940s

Tickets £5 each

Guest speaker: Graham Watson MEP, Liberal Democrat Member of the European Parliament for South West England and Gibraltar, and Leader of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe in the European Parliament.

This promises to be a very interesting evening. As well as discussing modern European issues we will provide a brief history of some of the Polish people who have lived in this area since the mid 20th century.

Polish food will be provided.
