Cllr Juliet Layton

South Cerney Village

Juliet has lived with her family in South Cerney for over 20 years. After initially renting a house Juliet, and her partner quickly realised South Cerney was the place to provide their boys with a good education and a place to call home.

The village welcomed the family and they embraced the many opportunities on offer. Juliet is a founder member of The Digger Uppers allotments, Singing for Fun, and is a member of the Street Fair Committee.

Juliet is a familiar face around the village, and has been the District Councillor for South Cerney since 2011.

Juliet's priorities are:

Genuinely affordable homes
Without compromising our green fields and open spaces.

Improve local roads and verges
The District Council should be helping Highways with minor road repairs and more beautiful verges that support wildlife.

Better bus services
To connect our villages and market towns, to reduce carbon emissions, to help tackle social isolation and reduce the cost of living.
